I was commissioned to design the band’s sophomore release on Bloodshot Records. The band wanted to retain their Neo Soul aesthetic but give a nod to their punk rock roots. So I took a photo of the band for the cover that would echo the feel of minimal covers from The Stooges and the Rolling Stones. No type. Just a portrait of the band.
IN THE WILD
The album’s cover was spotted on the wall of Jake Johnson’s character’s room in the hit Fox TV comedy “The New Girl”.
